Temporal Meltings

This album consists of 29 teasers and one feature presentation.

The short works are similar to small pieces of fabric woven from threads, yarns, and strings of sharply dissimilar colors, textures and thicknesses. They explore the possibilities of combining and superimposing contrasting melodic sounds and rhythmic textures. Rather than telling a story, these portions of sound-scape are meant to evoke a concise sensory impression. The final composition is different. Although it draws it’s impetus from the same sound world of these sonic explorations, it is longer and more narrative in it’s construction.

The sonic palette used on this collection, which tend to be quirky and funny in nature, were produced on my very first personal synthesiser, an Ensoniq VFX.
